Activities and Sport Weekly Update - Dec. 5
World Scholar's Cup
On November 29–30, our Concordia Middle School scholars participated in the 2025 World Scholar’s Cup Shanghai Regional Round and delivered truly outstanding results. Their dedication, teamwork, and curiosity were evident throughout the two-day competition as they engaged in challenging debates, collaborative writing, and academic quizzes alongside schools from across the region.
We are proud to celebrate their remarkable achievements, including:
-
8 Trophies
-
68 Gold Medals
-
47 Silver Medals
-
7 Teams qualifying for the 2026 Global Rounds
These results reflect not only our students’ academic strength, but also their courage to explore, their willingness to collaborate, and their joyful commitment to learning beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to all participating scholars—and a special commendation to the teams who advanced to the Global Rounds! May your accomplishments inspire you as you continue your learning journey in the year ahead.

Great Wall Shootout
Concordia’s Girls and Boys Varsity Basketball teams traveled to Beijing last weekend for the 19th Great Wall Shootout at ISB Beijing, joining an incredibly competitive field of six boys’ and six girls’ teams, including top international talent from ISB Bangkok. Our Phoenix rose to the challenge with heart and determination—our girls battled to a 4–1 record and advanced to the Championship match, while our boys competed with grit through three intense days of play, earning a strong 4th place finish.
Both teams demonstrated leadership, resilience, and true Concordia spirit on and off the court. Their growth, teamwork, and passion were evident in every game, and we could not be more proud. We’re already looking forward to returning for the 20th anniversary of the Great Wall Shootout next year; and to all that lies ahead for Phoenix Basketball!

ACAMIS Table Tennis
Concordia was proud to welcome 13 schools to campus last weekend for ACAMIS Table Tennis, transforming both gyms into a vibrant arena of competition with 34 tables and 145 athletes competing across team, doubles, and singles events. The level of play was exceptional, providing our student-athletes not only with valuable match experience, but also with opportunities to demonstrate resilience, sportsmanship, and the character that lies at the heart of Concordia athletics.
Events like this strengthen our preparation for APAC Table Tennis, which we are honored to host in January, and they reinforce our bigger purpose of helping students grow through challenge, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence. Congratulations to all competitors, especially our Concordia #1 Girls Team on their impressive 2nd place finish.
Go Phoenix!
