"My Favorite Shanghai" Short Video Showcase is a flagship programme by Shanghai Media Group (SMG) International for children and teenagers aged 6–17. It invites young people from around the world to share their perspectives on Shanghai through short videos of up to 90 seconds. Since its launch in 2019, the programme has showcased original stories in multiple languages, helping global audiences discover Shanghai and China through the eyes of young people.
This year's theme is "Child and Youth Friendly City." Students are invited to create videos capturing how the city is becoming more child and youth-friendly, and their ideas for making it even better.
