PSO Weekly Update - Feb 6
1. Chinese New Year Celebration
In celebration of the approaching Chinese New Year, the Elementary School parents have graciously decorated the ES Common area. We extend our best wishes to everyone for a joyful Year of the Horse.

2. HK Parents Gathering
On a bright February 4th, a warm gathering of Hong Kong group parents came together for a joyful Chinese New Year lunch, celebrating both tradition and community. The centerpiece of our feast was the magnificent 盆菜, that beloved layered dish whose very structure symbolizes prosperity, overflowing abundance, and the unity of all who share from the same pot. The occasion was made even more special by welcoming new families into our fold, while the lively chatter and laughter served as a wonderful catch-up with cherished old friends. Amidst the incredible spread of food and the even better company, we truly had the best time. With hearts and bellies full, we parted already looking forward with great anticipation to our next happy gathering.
3. Sweet Beginnings: Welcoming Chinese New Year After Application Season
As the application season draws to a close, Senior moms kicked off the first gathering of January with a warm and festive treat to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. The event featured refreshing apple cider vinegar drinks along with lovingly homemade chocolate and blueberry muffins—much to the delight of our seniors.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to Ying and Julie for helping lead and organize this wonderful event, as well as to all the volunteer moms who generously gave their time and energy to ensure its success. A special thank-you to Ying, who also donated and thoughtfully created a beautiful flower bouquet basket especially for the students, adding a meaningful and festive touch to the celebration.
The students were clearly excited by the treats, and even more so by the sense of relief and joy that comes with completing the most demanding part of the application process. Laughter, smiles, and relaxed conversations filled the space, marking a well-earned moment of celebration.
We wish all our seniors great news in the weeks ahead and extend our warmest wishes to all Senior families for a joyful and meaningful Chinese New Year spent with family and loved ones.
