G2 Walk for Change
Grade 2 students are learning that staying healthy means staying active. As part of this experience, they walked laps around the track to raise awareness and support for students at local schools. Through this meaningful event, students learned how healthy choices and caring for others can positively impact their community. Together, they are making a difference, one lap at a time. Thank you to our parents and community members for walking alongside us and supporting this important cause.

G3 Explores Disabilities
Grade 3 students are bringing awareness to disabilities and the importance of inclusion. They are learning how to recognise and appreciate differences while finding ways to support and include others. They realize that every person has unique strengths and challenges and through discussions, activities, and reflection, they are building understanding, empathy, and respect for people with different abilities. Students were challenged by our colleague Vanessa V to explore small actions, use kind words, and make thoughtful choices to ensure that everyone feel welcomed, valued, and included in our school community. This learning helps students develop empathy, build friendships, and create a welcoming environment where we all BELONG!

Parent-Teacher Conferences are a vital part of our commitment to fostering strong partnerships between teachers and parents and they serve multiple purposes:
1. Connections: PTCs provide an opportunity for teachers and parents to establish meaningful connections, build professional relationships, and reinforce open and constructive communication between stakeholders. Our aim is to understand each other’s perspectives, values, and needs which contribute to a holistic approach to education.
2. Conversations: These conferences provide a meaningful opportunity for teachers and families to reflect on and discuss each student's progress, strengths, and areas for growth both academically, and social-emotionally.
4. Feedback: During PTCs, teachers highlight positive aspects of a student's performance, showcase samples of learning, and discuss plans for challenges or opportunities for growth.
