We will host our Career Day on Monday, June 1st to kick off our Explorations Week. These two weeks from June 1 to June 11th will provide opportunities for our students to dig into a topic with teachers over these two weeks. This week will conclude on June 12th with our final exam week.
Explorations are Coming!
Explorations will be coming the week of June 1 to June 12. This year, we are changing the format of Explorations to provide options for our students to dig deeper into one topic of high interest to them. This information will be shared in the near future with students and parents.
One piece that is new this year is the options for students to create their own options for an Independent Style study during Explorations. There will be elements similar to our independent study options for courses including a written plan, a deliverable on the learning when finished, and approval from administration. More information about this option will be shared at the HS Assembly on Monday, April 13th for students, and later with parents. Watch for more information.
Course Selection has completed
All students have completed their course selection for the 2026-27 school year. There are a few final tweaks that our counselors are working on completing for all students. Those students or parents with questions, should speak to their counselors to address any last minute issues.
Food Sustainability Tip of the Week:
Pass on plastic. Plastic has infiltrated our natural world and even our diets. Bring a reusable-bag when you shop, opt for packaging-free fruit and vegetables where possible, and ask brands and retailers that continue to use plastic to find alternatives.
Updates and Reminders
At this time of the year, parents are on campus and enjoying connecting with others. This is a friendly reminder that we want parents on campus partnering with our teachers. Our teachers are happy to work with parents and support you. Please remember that these are teaching spaces and busy. If you wish to visit a teacher or classroom, please communicate with the teacher for permission and scheduilng. Parents need approval for classroom visits and are not permitted to just drop in. Please reach out to your child's teacher, or the HS Office for more information or if you have any questions.
