  • January 16 - 18th: CISSMUN, No school on January 16th for students

  • January 19th: Start of Semester 2

  • January 20th: Senior Gown Fitting - Boys

  • January 22nd: Grades released

  • January 28th to Feb 1st: Season 2 APAC Athletics (Table Tennis at Concordia)

  • February 6 - 8th: ACAMIS Vex Robotics Nationals (at Concordia)

  • February 12th: CNY Assembly at 8:30 am (PC Gym)

  • February 13th - 22nd: CNY Break

  • February 23rd: Return to school

  • February 26th: Course Information Evening (5:30 - 9:00 pm)

January Updates

We look forward to the last two weeks of our first semester ending on January 16th.  Grades will be shared with parents on Thursday, January 22nd.   Semester two will begin on Monday, January 19th for all classes.

Senior Parents, please remind your sons and daughters to attend their Senior Gown Fitting on January 13th for girls, and January 20th for boys.  There will be a make up day for those who miss these fittings.  Students will receive information via email about these dates or the make up date.

We will have guest speakers joining us this week, including Dr. Erik Hyde on Wednesday, January 14th, and artist BiRongRong on Tuesday, January 20th.

Grades will be released to parents on January 22nd. Speak with your child's counselor if you have any quesitons about academics.

There are also a number of athletic events and volunteer opportunities coming this month.  We look forward to seeing you on campus supporting our activities.

Course Information Night

We want to invite our families to save the date for February 26th, the Grade 8 - 11 Course Information Evening. This event will start at 5:30 pm in the HS Gym. This evening is intended for our families to hear about our core curriculum, and learn about course pathways and options for their children as they move through the High School towards graduation. Parents and students will have the opportunity to hear from the administration and teachers about the curriculum opportunities for students as they move towards graduation. Please save this date and watch for more information.

Our high school students have begun addressing the topic of food sustainability at Concordia. This first podacast is the beginning of an ongoing series of content regarding food sustainability and its impact on our community. Updates and Reminders

It is that time of year when all of our students bring their Apple laptops, Black Backpacks, Concordia Blue Hoodies, and Black instrument cases to school. We are starting to see students who are having items "stolen" or "taken". In most cases, these items are simply picked up by another student accidentally, thinking that the Concordia Hoodie was theirs.  We encourage students to put their name on their items, or put something on their bag or case that is identifiable as theirs.

In the event that you do have an item misplaced, please have your child backtrack to the last places they had.  Check in our lost and found areas and speak with teachers where they had the item.  If they are unable to find it, please contact Everett Hill, Assistant Principal at: everett.hill@concordiashanghai.org for assistance.
