Explorations are Coming!
Explorations will be coming the week of June 1 to June 12. This year, we are changing the format of Explorations to provide options for our students to dig deeper into one topic of high interest to them. This information will be shared in the near future with students and parents.
One piece that is new this year is the options for students to create their own options for an Independent Style study during Explorations. There will be elements similar to our independent study options for courses including a written plan, a deliverable on the learning when finished, and approval from administration.
Food Sustainability Tip of the Week:
Eat more fruits. Fruits contain valuable nutrients such as vitamins and minerals that can improve our health and wellbeing. Additionally, fruits are a good source of sugar, as fruit sugars are easier to break down in comparison to artificial ones.
Updates and Reminders
As we wrap up the year, please ensure that you are monitoring your child's attendance and grades. There are three weeks of classes left before our final exam week. As we wind the year down, let's end the year on a high note.
