A Note of Gratitude as We Close the School Year

As we come to the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to recognize what has been another strong and meaningful year in the High School. There is a lot to celebrate, and much of it has happened because students, parents, faculty, and staff have continued to show up for one another and for this community.

This year, we have seen students work hard in their classes, take risks in performances, compete with heart, serve others, lead events, and contribute in ways that make Concordia better. Some of these moments were public and easy to see and were celebrated through assemblies, Friday Announcements, concerts, competitions, recognition ceremonies, and most recently through the graduation of the Class of 2026. Many others happened quietly in classrooms, hallways, advisory, team practices, rehearsals, and conversations with teachers and friends. Together, they tell the story of a full and successful year in alignment with the kind of holistic education we value at Concordia. Students are learning to think deeply, communicate well, lead with purpose, serve others, and use their gifts in ways that matter.

I am especially grateful for our faculty and staff, who care deeply about students and work hard to support both their learning and their growth as people. Their daily commitment makes a real difference, and I feel very fortunate to get to work alongside them.

To our parents, thank you for your continued support and partnership throughout the year. Your trust, encouragement, feedback, and involvement are appreciated and important part of the work we do. A strong school community depends on strong relationships, and we are grateful to work alongside you in support of your children.

As we head into summer, I hope your family has time to rest, reconnect, and enjoy a slower pace. Thank you for being part of the Concordia High School community. We wish you a relaxing and joyful summer, and we look forward to welcoming students back in August.
